Where we are

Whe are a few steps from Piazza della Signoria, next to Piazza del Duomo, in the historical centre of Florence.

The house is located in the very heart of the middle-age city center of Florence. The palace was built, together with the other beside, on the ruins of the Roman Amphitheatre of Florentia (30 BC), as is you can clearly see from the aerial photo.
In this area you move around with public transportation or even better on walk. If you prefer to move fast better solution are taxi (expensive though).

The central rail station is 15min far on (a nice) walk across the city center. Car access to the city center is regulated by city law restriction. There is a few private parking place (Small and expensive) in the city center and a bunch of public (and a little bit cheaper big public parking space).
Being a penthouse the apartment is on the 4th floor of a ancient characteristic stone building in the city center. There is no elevator but stairs are wide and super easy to climb (we had guests from 3 to 80years).

The apartment is located 100 m away from the Piazza Santa Croce square with the Basilica and the National Library.
